What do I love…? I love life! I love musicals; I wish it was socially acceptable to burst out in song and dance whenever I felt the urge. I love soaking in bubble baths while reading the most wonderfully addictive fiction books that manage to totally transport me. I love driving– correction– being driven around (driving terrifies me) with the windows down and blasting music. Music? I love it! All of it. I can go from Nat King Cole to ACDC to Garth Brooks all within in a ten-minute period. I love crisp nights out on the porch like the ones that always come right around September with my hunny’s hand in one of mine and a mug of hot chocolate in the other. I love the Pacific Northwest, I’ll never leave. Ever. I adore snow– it screams happiness to me as strongly as it screams misery to most. I love (this will sound odd but I never feel at home without them) evergreens. Their appearance, their smell and the way they remind me of mountain tops and Christmas time. Oh Christmas! I ADORE it.
I will never get too old for Santa. I am a proud WSU Coug. I love sports…watching them that is. Playing? Not so much. Hand me a microphone and I’m in heaven, hand me a baseball bat and you’ll witness that my skin can go from pale to paler. I love babies and children. They are SO pure. Completely honest. Whatever expression I capture on their face isn’t staged, it’s exactly how they were feeling. I love making people recognize their own beauty. Nothing makes me prouder of my work than when someone tells me “Thank you so much! You make me feel like a model!” I love art so much it consumes me. The world is literally my canvas and I find myself in a constant state of envisioning how it could be used. I feel most at home in the outdoors, hence the choice to be a natural light photographer. And the most important thing to know about me? I want to know you! I never get tired of meeting new faces and making new friends. Friends who often times end up allowing me to be a part of the most important milestones in their family’s lives.

Hi Cali,
My name is Sarah. I saw your pictures of Kira Webster on facebook and I’m a huge fan of natural light. I’m a wanna-be-custom-photographer and I was just wondering when you decided this was what you wanted to do, what you majored in and how you got to where you are now. I don’t know if you mentor aspiring photographers or allow students to shadow you but I’d love to learn from you when I’m back in the Spokane area (my husband and I are currently in school in Utah). Also, I keep trying to access your website from different links you’ve put up and I can’t seem to get to it. Feel free to email me back anytime you have a chance, I’m sure you’re busy.
Thanks!
Sarah
