I take a photojournalistic approach to photography, meaning that I like to capture natural moments and natural expressions. I won’t bring a stuffed animal to wave in your child’s face and I won’t keep clicking until we get “the perfect smile.” I want to capture big curious eyes on the innocent little faces, and giggly grins with tightly shut lids. I won’t be concerned about perfectly placed hair or stiff smooth clothing. I love how flattering natural light is on a complexion. I shoot strictly outdoors unless it’s a newborn or baby indoor session. Because I rely on natural light I only shoot during certain times of the day: morning and early evening.
