I debated titling this post with “baby photographer” because Zella was celebrating her two year birthday but as she was my first newborn ever and I have a sentimental connection with the idea of her being a baby I decided to title it with baby even though she’s now a little girl. A little girl who, by the way, is so ladylike that she insisted on a fork and parental assistance to “smash” her cake. 
I did this little guys newborn photos and it was so fun to see the smoochable little cutie he has turned into one year later. He took a lot of coaxing to dig into his cake which is NOT uncommon for cake smashes haha. I had to reassure his mom that all babies have a tendency to not be impressed with the process of being encouraged to do something they’re usually discouraged from doing and doing it in front of a stranger with a camera pointed at their face Patience is the name of the game. And of course everyone is allowed to cry on their birthday, hehe.
I’m soooo sad to see this little man graduate my Grow with Me Program. He’s been such a treat to see every 3 months this past year. Be sure to come back for more of his one year session!

Happy mothers day! I feel so privileged to be able to photograph the bonds between all of the amazing women I’ve had the pleasure of working with and their children. It’s touching to witness and gets me more excited to become a mother myself one day to experience love like that. I hope you all have been getting treated like the amazing women you are!
