I love getting to see my clients children grow, and especially in that first year since they change so much and so quickly! Here are the photos from Annalise’s newborn session with me. We were lucky to get nice enough weather to do outside spring photos for Annalise and we even hunted down the first of the spring blooms. You can see in the photos that we had fun with her favorite ball, played peek-a-boo and had fun smashing up her beautiful first birthday cake. I also love that mom brought some sentimental items. I always instruct clients that baby photo sessions should be about capturing the stage that they’re at at the time, since it goes away so quickly. And it just so happened that Annalise was in a stage where she couldn’t get enough cuddles from her stuffed turtle. I love the sweetness of that image. Another sentimental item mom brought was the crocheted dress her mom made for her grandbaby and which they took photos of her in as a newborn.
